SCB's Global Network primarily consists of Full Members; individuals whose professional work, expertise, research, or ongoing education aligns closely with SCB's mission to advance the science and practice of conserving biodiversity.
SCB also serves Associate Members; community-adjacent individuals who may not fully identify with SCB on a professional level, or individuals who currently face financial constraints to Full Membership.

Full Members
Full Members receive all the benefits of membership, including discounts to publish in SCB journals and register for SCB conferences. They encompass a diverse range of individuals, including current or former members, SCB conference attendees, as well as professionals, students, and researchers whose work and engagement reflect SCB's mission to advance the science and practice of conserving biodiversity.
Associate Members
New in 2024, Associate Members receive some of the benefits of Full Membership. This member type is designed for those who may not fully identify with SCB's mission professionally or who are experiencing financial constraints. Please refrain from selecting this option if it doesn't align with your profile.
Membership Renewal: When
you renew your membership you will be asked to sign in to your SCB
account. Links are available to reset your username or password, if
necessary.
Become a Lifetime Member
Lifetime members make a one-time investment (2500USD membership dues) to secure access to SCB's network and enjoy member benefits that extend throughout their lifetime. Lifetime members never need to renew and are recognized for their lifetime commitment to SCB's mission. If you would like to become a Lifetime member, contact SCB at
